MSD of New Durham Township Return to Learn

The Board of School Trustees approved the Return to Learn  Plan on 7/22/21.  Our plan is reviewed by the Board and public comment is permitted every 6 months (each June and December).  Our plan includes a color-coded system whereby each color dictates the level of precautionary measures to be implemented throughout the school.  Please be aware that administration will gather data on a daily basis and the school's current level could change at any time based on changes in risk level.

Green Light

Note:  The Return to Learn Plan does not include specific factors that would require the school to move to fully virtual learning.  However, in the event that data indicates significant spread of the virus is occurring within the school, or if staffing becomes an issue due to illness or quarantine, a classroom, grade level, or school could be moved to virtual learning for a period of time.  Administration will work with local health officials to make this decision should it become necessary.  Parents should be prepared with a plan for childcare at all times, as a move to virtual learning could be made with little advance notice.
